IN THE 1960’S TONY DUQUETTE WAS ASKED BY CROWN ZELLERBACH TO BE THE ART DIRECTOR FOR AN AD CAMPAIGN FOR “ZEE PAPER PRODUCTS”.  ABOVE HE HAS USED ANTIQUE PICTURE FRAMES DECORATED WITH ANTIQUE BEADED VENETIAN GLASS FLOWERS AND LENGTHS OF GAUZE TO GET ACROSS THE POINT THAT ZEE TOILET PAPER, TISSUES, AND PAPER TOWELS ARE SOFT, DELICATE, AND COME IN PASTEL COLORS.

SAME AS ABOVE.  NOTE THE MODEL IS WEARING ELIZABETH DUQUETTE’S FAVORITE NECKLACE AND MOROCCAN ROBE.

A VERMEIL BOWL HOLDS ZEE TOILET PAPER IN PASTEL SHADES ATOP TONY DUQUETTE’S ORIGINAL RIBBON AND LEAF CONSOLE AND MIRROR.  THE MODEL IS WEARING A GOWN MADE OF GAUZE TO TONY DUQUETTE’S DESIGN.

TONY DUQUETTE HAS SET THE SCENE FOR THIS ZEE ADVERTISEMENT USING HIS UNIQUE GILT METAL AND SEASHELL SCREENS (ORIGINALLY EXHIBITED AT HIS HISTORIC ONE-MAN EXHIBITION AT THE PAVILLON DE MARSAN AT THE LOUVRE, PARIS) AND HAS DEVISED A GILT METAL AND GIANT CLAM SHELL LAVATORY AND GIANT CLAM TOILET PAPER HOLDER.
